  1. I still really like the picture of the pomegranate and kiwis. The contrasting colors are really nice and the way it has a zigzag creates a nice flow to the photo. And as I mentioned in class, I think if you re shoot with crown of the pomegranate showing it would make the photo feel more complete.

  2. I feel like the cropping on the arms in first portrait is a little awkward. I like the light, but think a reflector for shadow under the chin would help. Cut off head in second portrait feels awkward to me along with the piece of hair on her ear. I like her expression more here. Pomegranate and kiwi is my favorite. I like the colors a lot. Feels like a little extra space at the top. I think the bottom kiwi would look better with a fluid curve to the edge. Flower shot is least attractive to me, I feel like the shape of the flower out of focus about the area of focus is what I would like to look at. I do think its an interesting use of light/shadow. I wish the starfruit were organized differently, maybe more symmetrical, it feels strange how the piece to the far right is placed. Windex creates an interesting look, but doesn't attract me to the starfruit.

  3. I love the way the kiwi zig-zags and leads your eye back to the other fruit. I also like your star fruit, I just wish the water droplets were clear like water instead of cloudy. I agree with Ryan that the cropping of the arms is a little awkward in your first portrait, maybe just crop in a little more. Otherwise, I think your portraits are pretty successful.

  4. I really enjoy the close up black and white portrait. It has interesting shadows and highlights. The further away portrait could use a different composition. I think the arms should be completely cropped out or fully in. My favorite is the pomegranate and the kiwi. I love the composition and the colors. I also like the star fruit photo and the sudsy water droplets make it interesting. Maybe you could have made the photo a little more interesting if you would have utilized the interesting shape of the fruit and had some falling out of the dish.

  5. I enjoy the kiwi and passion fruit image a lot. The color combination is pleasing to the eye, and the movement in the image is very interesting. I do agree that had you included the top on the passion fruit in the image, it would have maybe completed the flow of the image. I also thing the still life image of the flowers is interesting, the angle you shot it at is something uncommon, but beautiful. The only thing i would like to see is maybe making it a tad bit brighter and darken the shadows some so it really pops.
