  1. The asparagus and the whisk are my favorites. Out of the two portraits I like the close up better. In the other there's an area above the shadows on the right side of her face, above her eye, that pattern makes it look almost surreal when I look for a period of time. I would prefer a different composition for the waffle shots. Something about the balance with the silverware on the right throws me off.

  2. I love the asparagus. The composition and colors are great and it works well as a piece. I also love the lighting and reflection under the whisk. I feel the portraits and waffles need some compositional help. They seem very straight forward and need something to spice them up. Possibly getting close up, or going from a different angle.

  3. I enjoy the simplicity of the asparagus and the way the green looks against the browns. The whisk is my least favorite. I wish there was some sort of concept, something interacting with the whisk, or an interesting way to display the whisk. I prefer the close up portrait. The silverware kind of bothers me in the food photos. Maybe if you tried to put the fork on one side and the knife on the other side.

  4. I think the series of images you did with the food look the most comical and fun. They seems to interact with the viewer a lot more then some of your other images. As far as the Hollywood images, I think had the make up been more dramatic, it would have been more 1920's stylized, but the lighting i feel is effecting in portraying the Hollywood ideal.
