  1. I still find my self staring at the ice cream because it never would have occurred to me that it was black and white. that's pretty bad, right? anyway, it's a lovely picture. The portrait of Alex, in my opinion, is a little unflattering. I think it's just the angle.

  2. I love the ice cream, I love the way it folds and melts over the glass. It looks great. I love the compositions of the sticks and coffee beans (i think that's what they are...) Your portraits need the same compositional consideration you gave to your food photos.

  3. My favorite photo is the ice cream. I love that fact that its such a playful subject and yet the photograph is eery. The drips running down the cup almost look planned. I wish the composition was different in the nutcracker still life. Im too distracted by all of the red out of focus. I also really like the sticks and beans photo. The white background really gave the shot its simple and beautiful feel. I feel like I would like to see a little more thought put into the portraits.

  4. I love the depth in the image with the nutcracker, it makes it look much larger then it really is in real life. The rembrandt lit image is very nice, and a good representation on that lighting style. As you already know, your ice cream image is a big hit, and i enjoy it very much. i like that it is not centered, it being black and white makes it look more like vanilla bean ice cream. I love the small drop that landed on the bottom of the saucer, and that you caught the drip as it was slowly making its way down the side.
